Three in Tennessee testing

Happy belated Fourth. I hope you were able to safely enjoy watching people blow stuff up. I enjoy it, so long as it's not my neighbors & it's not after midnight. Yep... I must be getting old. It seems hard to believe that Teri and I were engaged ten years ago on the Fourth of July weekend.

Our Independence Day celebration coincided nicely with Home Depot's $6/gallon mail-in rebate on Behr paint. We purchased the paint for the nursery, as well as the downstairs spare bed & bath rooms and stain for the fence. All that other stuff is just honeydo, the real excitement is the nursery. We decided on a gender-neutral green called Water Sprout. I think it'll look great with the already white trim, and I'm even considering white wainscoting. And gender-neutrality aside, it matches the girl's crib set we own. I don't trust monitor color calibration, not to mention the effect of the green page border, but for what it's worth, here's the color chip.
