Three in Tennessee testing

It may be a bit early to call it fate, but the Cubbies moved into first place less than 24 hours before Tatum's birth, thus setting the world in order for her arrival. On her birthday, Sweet Lou Piniella had this to say:

"What's important is to be in first place the last day of the season. Right now, it looks good. I'm just pleased the way that these kids are playing. They're giving everything they got."

Then Tatum attended her first Cubs game at Wrigley - an 8-0 blowout in the final home game of the regular season. And now, it's finished! They've done exactly what Lou was focused on... They won the NL Central for the first time since 2003. And they did it on my Grandma Hershy's birthday. I'm not saying... I'm just saying... d-e-s-t-i-we'll see. Anything can happen, but how sweet a 30th birthday gift would a World Series championship be? It all comes full-circle in '07. GO CUBS GO!!!
