Three in Tennessee testing

I submitted our "family profile" to Bethany this afternoon! I've got to tell you, it feels great to be done.

Bethany uses profiles as a means to introduce adoptive families to birth parents. How's that for marketing yourself? As you can imagine, Teri and I spent countless hours working on and praying about it. We feel great about the result, and know that it will speak straight to the heart of the birth parent it has been made for.

Special thanks to a new friend, you know who you are, who helped make our profile look its best. I've been informed that you don't like to be recognized... So here's an anonymous shout out: We couldn't have made it without you!

In other news, Teri is making her legendary chicken chili blanco for the Maryville Vineyard Chili Cook-off tomorrow. Each small group is submitting one chili entry for competition. Our small group totally rocks & we'll have a blast. We even have team shirts. I'm really looking forward to eating lots of chili. Teri has already bolstered our supply of Beano, so we're good to go. Did I mention that I LOVE Teri's chicken chili blanco? (I hope none of the competition is reading this!)

The Cards just won game three of the series. I'm glad they're representing the NL strong.
